How To Book
|
To
book a charter with Dream
Catcher Charters call my office. Speak to Gennifer or
anyone in the office regarding your needs. If you have
further questions please feel free to call my cell
phone. 1-305-304-0497 after 5 pm or drop me an email. My
office is the only place you can make a reservation.
The only
way you can reserve a day on my boat or any boat that my
office will reserve for you is by giving us a 20%
deposit. This is 20% of the total trip fare amount. $
500.00 trip fare = 100.00 deposit.
A Confirmation Will
Be Sent
The
cancellation policy is straight forward and a copy of it
will be sent to you at your email address in the form of
a word document for you to print, sign and fax back to
my office to indicate that you understand my
cancellation policy and see that the day we have you
booked on is indeed correct. This is when you make it on
the books.

Cancellation
Policies
We stand by
a 7 day cancellations policy with a 24 hour full charge
policy. This means that if you have to cancel inside 7
days of your charter we do keep your deposit. If you do
not cancel and then don't show up for your charter, you
will be billed in full for the charter and any
subsequent days there after.
Bad Weather
Policies
Bad Weather can always play a roll in our outdoor
activities. The policy on bad weather is simple here. We
look at the weather constantly with our charters in mind
of what we need to do to make your day a great one.
If the winds are over 25 kts our
backcountry charters are operated on a Customer
decision. This means that you are not required to go
unless you so desire. We will be totally honest about
your possibilities and if we leave the dock a minimum of
1/2 day charter will be billed. Should you decide to
cancel on a 25 kts day it will be done at the dock not
based on a forecast and your deposit will be refunded.
Fly
Fishermen
We will not cancel your
charter due to winds that make your fly fishing
difficult. We have had several new clients wish to
cancel their charters due to 10 and 15 mph winds, we
will not honor this policy and you will be expected to
go, or pay for your day booked with us. Fly fishermen
need to know that the year round average wind speeds in
Key West are 12 kts. Double Hauling is a casting
technique that will help you cope with these winds.
Also, we supply spin fishing gear for you as well should
the winds be too high. Keep in mind also that the wind
is your friend in fly fishing in Salt Waters making it
possible to get closer to the fish.
